Welcome To J.S. Kennels & Training
Our kennel is located south of Murtaugh, Idaho in the heart of prime Pheasant, California Quail, Chukar and Hungarian Partridge country. We have Thousands of acres available for our training needs; In addition we border thousands of acres of BLM ground where our dogs run on a regular basis. We are a full service kennel specializing in breeding, training and campaigning first class Hunting and Field Trial dogs. Dogs are trained and campaigned on a year round basis. They are trained, conditioned, rested & campaigned in an effort to maximize each dogs potential. We offer first class puppies, started & finished dogs for sale. We also offer boarding and stud services. In order to breed higher class birddogs we no longer be take on outside dogs for training. We successfully train and campaign in American Field Horse Back Trials.
We specialize in breeding the English Pointer. Our breeding program emphasizes a bold, confident dog, high tail set, striking style, with good temperaments, well balanced physique, intelligent and classy, with smooth powerful gait, excellent speed and ground coverage, a strong backing instinct, easy to handle, train and work.
